How do I get music not from audio track into my you tube videos?

i want to know because i hate most of the music in the audio track and i see everyone else else with music not from the audio track. HELP!!! pleeze i want to put in kool music

Is this a video that's on your computer? You can overlay a different audio track using Windows Movie Maker (if you're running Windows XP or Vista).

Click on Start > Programs > Accessories > Windows Movie Maker.

On the left, under Movie Tasks, click the "Import video" link and select the video that you want to change. It should appear in the Collection pane in the middle.

Then, click "Import Audio or Music" and select the .MP3 file that you want to include. It will also appear in the Collection pane.

Down at the bottom of the window you'll see a light blue section. If you see a series of rectangles in that section, then you are in Storybook mode. Otherwise, you are in Timeline mode. There's a button just above that section that allows you to toggle between Storybook mode and Timeline mode (the label on that button will say either "Show Storybook" or "Show Timeline"). You want to be in Timeline mode, so click that button if it reads "Show Timeline."

In Timeline mode, you'll see that instead of the rectangles, the blue section is divided into three sections: Video, Audio/music, and Title Overlay. Click and drag the video in the Collections pane down to the Video section.

Then, click & drag the music file from the Collections pane to the Audio/music section. You'll see that the music clip forms a white rectangle with a fuzzy blue line in that section; the length of the rectangle corresponds to the song length (you can see the time scale above the video section) and the fuzzy blue lines are the sound waves. Click and drag the music rectangle to the far left so your song will begin at the start of the clip.

Now you have to mute the original audio that's coming from the video clip or you'll have both audio tracks playing at the same time (you can click on the Play button in the Preview pane on the right if you want to see/hear what that sounds like). To mute the audio from the clip, select Clip > Audio > Mute from the menu. Now when you do a preview, you should only hear the sound of the separate track that you dragged down.

Now, you have to adjust the length of your music clip so it matches the length of your video clip. Click on the music file rectangle in the Audio/music section so that it's "active" (you'll see a heavier border around it). Move your mouse to the right edge of the music rectangle, and it should turn into a double headed red arrow. Click and drag the border so that it matches the length of your video clip (it should "snap" to the size of the rectangle once you get close).

When you're done making all of your changes, click "Save to My Computer." Choose a title and pick a location to save to. Click Next.

Now you should be at the Movie Settings dialog. For now, I would click on the Other Settings radio button and choose "Video for broadband (512 kbps)" from the drop-down list. Click Next and it should start saving your movie.

When the wizard finishes saving your video, you're ready to upload it to YouTube. Open up YouTube in your internet browser and click the Upload link. Just remember that video clips on YouTube are restricted to 10 minutes in length and 100 MB in size. If you find your video is too big, go and choose a video setting with a lower bit rate (like "Video for Broadband (340 kbps)").
