Im having trouble with my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe Amp?
I bought the amp used about two weeks ago. It was in perfect condition, and guitar center said the guy had it for like 90 days. I come home, plug it up, everything works just fine. I play it about an hour a night for a week, never cranking up the volume on either the clean volume or master nob past 1.5 or 2, and everything seemed to be great.
Then I had a layoff of about five days from playing the amp. It sat in the exact same spot in my room, never moved, never touched. Today, i plugged up my guitar to play, and as soon as i hit a note i got this loud, annoying buzzing noise. The guitar notes were barely audible behind this array of fuzz and hum.
Even if i unplug the guitar, turn on the amp, and touch the end of the cord, enough for noise to be made, its like it reaches this volume threshold then starts making this buzz that never stops.
Any ideas? I may have to bring it back.
This could be a problem with your guitar actually, i know what you mean. Wires inside your guitar always break just from spinning nobs or even pluggin in your amp chord. The problem could actually be your guitar itself. Or it could be your guitar chord. If you haven't moved it then it has to be the chord or guitar.
