Do you think a Mitchell MDJ10 Junior Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar would be good for a 13 year-old body?
i want to get it for my daughter. If not, do you have any better suggestions that cost no more than $150
I just purchased one today from Guitar Center...they have a great President's Day sale going on and it was priced at $99.
I picked it up for my 8 yr old son. It's his first. The 3/4 size is perfect for him. At 13, your daughter might quickly "out grow" it and want a full size. So maybe a full size is the way to go right away. Having said that, I will not be disappointed when my son out grows this one...its very nice and I'd be happy to take it over!
The other one I was looking at was the Yamaha JR1. I think Yamaha makes some great stuff at all the price points and sizes. I've had my Yamaha for nearly 23yrs and it is still solid.
