Which do you think is better for playing rock with a thick tone that can go from ac/dc to modern metallica to?
Raven RG100H and RG412 Half Stack
Line 6 Spider Iv HD150 150W
Marshall Mg4 Series MG100HFX
I want a pretty simple amp. I'm probably never gonna use the effects. I want to know which amp would be the best for tone without a pedal because my digitech RP350 just doesn't sound natural enough. It sounds to digital and is hard to get the perfect crisp but kinda grungy tone that i want. Something i can chug while muting powerchords but i can get a really sweet and smooth solo tone out of. can anyone help me out since all of the guitar stores i know of don't have these amps?
Angus Young uses a Marshall with no effects units. See http://www.guitargeek.com/rigview/312/
